Providing Shoes for School Children

While Diana was in South Africa hosting two groups of travelers from the U.S. One Land Love It invited her and Veterinary Conservation Coalition to join them in a community outreach program.   One of our generous donors, a pastor and a community man himself, jumped at the chance to fund the project.
VCC and OLLI joined together to provide 160 pairs of shoes to school children in a rural conservation area surrounding Addo Elephant Park, part of the South African National Parks.

Veterinary Conservation Coalition joined One Land Love It for a community outreach project to provide 160 pairs of shoes to school children in the community bordering Addo Elephant Park.

The Future Begins Today

One Land Love It lives and breathes the idea that educating the children about the importance of conservation will make the world a safer place for endangered species.  The children in these areas are not taught the declining number of rhino each day, the tenuous hold of endangered species in the reserves for survival, the rapidly diminishing habitat of many animals, nor the fact that these children themselves can advocate and protect their homeland for all species.  OLLI is there, boots on the ground, teaching these little ones that they hold the future in their hands.
